Mushers Bowl Winter Carnival
January 18-27, 2008
The Mushers Bowl is an award winning event featuring world class dog sled racing at Five Fields Farm in Bridgton, Maine. The two day event also features skijoring; opportunities to ride a dog sled recreationally and of course food. In conjunction with the Mushers Bowl we offer a good old fashion winter carnival throughout Bridgton. For the first time in 2008 we will expand the event from a weekend to an 8 day event. Plan to view or participate in our first Lakes Biathlon (Skiing and target shooting). We will work with the support team to the US Olympic Biathlon team in running this event. Between the Biathlon on the 20th and the Mushers Bowl on the 26-27th; there will be a variety of events including many you can actively participate in-all listed at www.mushersbowl.com  Form a team to enter Dodgeball, ping pong, broomball and other competitive tournaments. The best news, most events are open to you if you wear your $1.00 Winter Carnival Button for no extra charge. Events that do charge offer great discounts with the button. FMI contact The Greater Bridgton Lakes Region Chamber Of Commerce at 207-647-3472. Tickets will be on Sale February 1, 2008.
