The Seasons of Maine

Pick your season when you come to Maine! If you like the outdoors you will find there is always something to do or explore. In the springtime it is not uncommon to see kids and adults alike playing with 4-wheelers in the muddy spring thaw.

You might catch a canoe race full of people celebrating the arrival of Spring. Many parts of the state host canoe races and some even have what they call "anything races" on local rivers and streams while the winter snow works it's way toward the ocean!
As Spring turns to Summer, Maine illuminates with beautiful flowers for us to enjoy through the warm summer months. A good time to smell nice clean fresh air.

Fall gives us some of the most beautiful foliage that can be found anywhere in Country. Maine hosts bus after bus full of tourists eager to see the beautiful foliage that sweeps across the state painting it many beautiful colors.

As fall departs, we're on to hunting season where Moose like this one no longer have antlers growing in velvet. They've grown an impressive set of antlers and are ready to elude the hunters and other bulls in their quest to find a female moose known as a cow. Our Moose heard is getting larger and larger each year, so watch for them in the early evening and you just might see one or two.

Winter gives us the opportunity to go for a nice snowmobile ride on some of the best ITS trails anywhere. To the North in Aroostook County and to the West you'll find conditions that beg for a trip to Maine! It might be an old wagon wheel hanging in a tree or a little girl getting towed around what used to be driveway, but you're sure to see some of the most beautiful sites anywhere in the United States.
